    Four American giants formed the New York organization’s first Advisory Board: Tom Watson, president and founder of IBM; James Cash Penney, founder of J.C. Penney & Co.; Arthur Godfrey, popular radio and TV personality; and Norman Vincent Peale, minister, inspirational speaker, and author of The Power of Positive Thinking. The concept spread to cities throughout the U.S.

    CREATING Breakthrough results


    A “breakthrough” is defined as an extraordinary result or outcome, something that we don’t know how to accomplish and are uncertain if it can be accomplished at all.  It’s something that seems so difficult to accomplish that we would be breaking through to new destinations when we actually do so.


    If you want to achieve “breakthroughs”, in your work and personal life, this session is for you.  You will learn techniques that will enable you to produce breakthrough results and do so, on repeatable basis. 


    Topics covered include:


    ·         Understand the reliable pathway for producing breakthroughs results

    ·         How to effectively leverage the power of differences

    ·         How to improve communications, collaboration and engagement


    This highly interactive session contains large and small group activities, giving participants opportunities to also learn with, from, and through each other. 




    Vinay Kumar coaches and educates leaders in sectors that include IT and Engineering, healthcare, non-profit and the government.  He is with the TEOCO Corporation, which has offices in 15 countries and serves clients in over 100 countries. 


    Vinay is the co-author of Language and the Pursuit of Leadership Excellence: How Extraordinary Leaders Build Relationships, Shape Culture, and Drive Breakthrough Results.  This book as well as programs based on this body-of-work, are part of many leadership coaching and leadership and professional development programs at leading educational institutions, corporations, government and non-profit organizations. 


    They include Accenture, the American Council of Education, Harley-Davidson, International Monetary Fund, Marriott International, National Science Foundation, The Washington Performing Arts, The Coca-Cola Company, US Social Security Administration, US Citizenship and Immigration Service, Department of Education, Georgetown University, George Mason University, University of Maryland, TEOCO Corporation, REI Systems, and Infusionsoft.


    Vinay holds the designation of Professional Certified Coach (PCC) from the International Coaches Federation, and is a graduate of Georgetown University's Leadership Coaching program.  He also holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maryland.  His experience includes Fortune 50, US Federal Service, and owning and growing successful privately held business. 


    His roles have included business development, marketing, client services, training, and operations.  He also volunteers his time with The Mankind Project.  Vinay lives in Great Falls with his wife and 2 daughters.
